Joe Lee may be a freshman at CSI, but he is not new to the pool, earning the men’s swimming and diving Rookie of the Week. In his first six races on the season, Lee compiled four wins and two second place finishes. In a 141-77 victory over Pace University, Lee finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of :23.55, first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :50.65, and first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.88.
In his second meet, a 117-106 victory over Baruch, Lee finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :49.48. With a time of 1:49.76 in the 200-yard medley relay, Lee earned a second place finish. In the 200-yard individual medley, Lee finished in first place with a time of 2:04.32.
