No stranger to earning the Rookie of the Week award is Liz Mahoney, who continues to impress in her first collegiate season. Competing in Hunter’s own Developmental Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, site of the upcoming CUNY Athletic Conference Championships, Mahoney claimed gold medal honors by competing the 6k course in just 26:30, almost a minute faster than the second place runner, this week’s Runner of the Week, Lisa Lamanna of CSI. Hunter finished in third place out of nine schools.
