Kyle Stephen is this week’s Brine® Rookie of the Week for netting a pair of goals to lead the Cougars to wins over Brooklyn and City Tech. Medgar Evers (5-7-2; 4-2-1 CUNYAC) won 3-1 and 1-0, respectively.
Stephen has learned to score early, netting a goal early in the first half of each game.
He scored the first goal of the game against Brooklyn, unassisted, on a free kick. The game had barely begun, only in the tenth minute. Against City Tech, he scored the game’s only goal in the sixteenth minute, unassisted.
Stephen is sixth in the CUNY Athletic Conference in goals scored with six.
