John Jay freshman Jemal Ninua has asserted himself as the premier rookie runner in the CUNY Athletic Conference, earning Rookie of the Week for the fourth consecutive week.
He is rapidly becoming familiar with the 8k course at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, as he finished seventh in the Brooklyn College Invitational with a time of 31:45. A week ago, he covered the same course in 32:20.
