Sarah McGovern cops this week’s Runner of the Week award after placing third in the Queensborough Community College Invitational. The meet was held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. McGovern posted a time of 28.20 in the 6k course, which has become a favorite for McGovern. She was the second fastest Division III runner, finishing behind teammate Elizabeth Mahoney and a community college runner from FIT.
