Kyle Stephen is enjoying his rookie campaign with Medgar Evers, as he recorded three goals in his first game to be named the Conference Rookie of the Week. The Cougars went 1-2 to begin the new campaign, beating Yeshiva 5-3 before losing to Elizabethtown 3-2 and Rowan 3-1.
Against Yeshiva, Stevens scored three goals on nine shots as MEC won.
