Earning Rookie of the Week laurels is Eric Barty of Hunter College. The Hawks (19-14, 10-2 CUNYAC) lost their only match last week, falling in four to Baruch. Barty played exceptionally well, knocking down twelve kills with no errors and a .500 hitting percentage. Additionally, he had a season-high six total blocks.
This week Hunter travels to Medgar Evers College in their last contest prior to the CUNYAC Championships.
