Danial Levent of Baruch earns Player of the Week honors for leading the Bearcats (27-9, 13-0 CUNYAC) to two very impressive wins last week. Baruch defeated conference foe Hunter and regional rival New Paltz by identical 3-1 scores. Against Hunter, Levent notched 15 kills and five total blocks to help Baruch clinch the #1 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Championships. At New Paltz, Levent picked up a career- and team-high 21 kills in a big out-of-conference victory.
Baruch will host Lehman College on Tuesday night in their final CUNYAC match of the regular season before hosting SUNY-IT on Friday. Saturday will have the Bearcats travelling to western Massachusetts for a tri-match at Elms College with Daniel Webster College.
