The junior was extremely impressive in the Bloodhounds conference victory versus York last Friday. The Oakland, California native won two individual events and helped John Jay remain in second-place in the league. The Acalanes graduate turned in a time of 12:36.43 in the 1000 Freestyle and touched the wall in 6:03.49 in the 500 Freestyle. In addition, she was a member of the winning 200 Free Relay squad.
Megan O’Byrne, Hunter

The junior won all three of her races, helping the Hawks remain undefeated in the conference with victories over Staten Island and Lehman. The junior swept the 500 (6:41.83) and 1000 Yard Freestyle (13:43.29) in the Hawk’s 129-98 victory at Staten Island. The Littleton, Colorado native also captured the 1000 Yard Freestyle in 13:36.64 in Hunter’s 59-34 victory at home against Lehman.
