The Baruch College men’s basketball team asserted its dominance within the CUNYAC, extending its conference record to a perfect 7-0. Last week, the Bearcats split their games, losing to non-conference William Paterson 70-65 before beating CUNYAC foe Brooklyn 79-78.
Against WPU, ranked #23 in Division III, George went 10-of-11 from the free throw line and notched a double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. The Archbishop Molloy graduate was outstanding again in his next game, picking up another double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds in a thrilling victory over conference foe Brooklyn College.
Baruch (15-4 overall) now sits atop the CUNYAC North division and remains the only school undefeated in league play. The Bearcats are at John Jay on Wednesday night and at Hunter on Friday.
