Baruch’s women’s swimming and diving teams raised their record to 7-6 overall, including a 4-1 mark within the CUNY Athletic Conference by beating Lehman 112-69 and John Jay 61-33. They were led by the Swimmer of the Week, Jessica Penaherrera, who won all six races she entered during the week. Against Lehman, she won the 200-yard medley relay (2:18.57), 200-yarm individual medley (2:49.63) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:15.91). At John Jay, she won the 200-yard freestyle (2:16..62), 100-yard butterfly (1:09.25) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:08.09).
Baruch will swim at the College of New Rochelle on Thursday.
