Richard Jean-Baptiste scored over 20 points in each of Brooklyn College’s three games en route to leading the Bridges to a perfect 3-0 week. On the season, Brooklyn is 6-1 overall, including a 2-0 mark in the conference. Jean-Baptiste recorded 23 points and seven rebounds against York, 23 points and six rebounds against Staten Island and 21 points with eight rebounds against Purchase. His consistent play is the main reason he was selected as a pre-season first team All-American by The Sporting News and a second team All-American by D3Hoops.com. He is the reigning CUNYAC men’s basketball Player of the Year.
