Alonso was pivotal in helping Lehman defeat conference rival John Jay College by finishing first in the three events she was entered and thus claimed their first team victory of the season. The 5-2 freshman took the top place in the 100yd Butterfly with a time of 1:12.02 and swam the butterfly leg of the 200yd Medley Relay which finished with a final time of 2:13.02. The Saunders high school graduate also claimed the top spot in the 50yd Freestyle with a time of 28.82.
