Alvord, the junior out of Silver Spring, Maryland (Springbrook HS) went undefeated during the regular season and captured the conference championship MVP award. With the Hawks off to a 1-0 start with a 58-31 win over John Jay, Alvord continues to shine with first-place finishes in the 200 Free (2:10.28) and the 100 Back (1:04.66) events.
