Garo hit .315 in a 6-0 week for the Beavers, including three double-doubles, and was named Most Valuable Player of the NJCU Gothic Knight Invitational. She posted a 17-kill, 17-dig effort in lifting CCNY past defending conference champion Hunter (Oct. 13), sending her team to sole possession of first place in the process. Garo posted 12-plus kills in all three of the Beavers' matches, including a near-triple double in the five-set final over host NJCU (17 k, 18 d, 8 aces).
