Marte picks up his second straight CUNYAC Rookie of the Week award, and has set himself up as a force to be reckoned with at the Oct. 26 CUNYAC Championships following his winning time of 28:23 at Sunday's Brooklyn Invitational (Oct. 5) on the 8,000-meter Van Cortlandt Park course.
