The freshman provided CUNYAC leader Brooklyn with seven victories last week. The Brooklyn native won all four of his No. 2 singles matches and added three doubles wins. The Marymount graduate defeated Jim Walsh (CSI), 6-3, 0-6 (11-9), Adeola Alao (John Jay), 6-2, 2-6 (12-10), and Daniel Plaat (CCNY), 6-1, 6-0. In doubles, he won a pair of No. 2 matches with partner Metin Noorata (versus CSI and John Jay) and also won at the No. 1 slot with teammate Johny Rolando against Maritime. He’s now a perfect 8-0 in singles play this season.
