The freshman opened her John Jay career with a bang, delivering five hits in her first seven at bats (.714) in a doubleheader split with SUNY Purchase. The Staten Island native went 1-for-3 with an RBI in the season-opening loss and then ripped four hits in four at bats in the game two win. The infielder scored three runs and drove in four more in the 14-6 decision. The St. Peter’s Girls graduate also roped her first career triple and home run in the contest.
