
The native of Guayaquil, Ecuador set two school records and helped lead the Bearcats to a conference win against Staten Island. The freshman opened her career by establishing a new standard in the 100 Breaststroke, clocking in with a time of 1:16.65 to win the race. The U.E.M.S. graduate also set a new school mark in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:17.87 in a loss to Adelphi (10/26). She closed out the week by winning three individual races in the victory against Staten Island (11/7), taking the 100 Meter Butterfly, 400 Meter Freestyle, and the 800 Meter Freestyle.
