The junior captured her third straight meet to open the season, winning the 5k Queensborough Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park this past Sunday. The Woodside native covered the historic course in 22:34, thirty-six seconds ahead of teammate Tameisha Renaud. Last season, the Woodside graduate placed 13th at the CUNYAC Championships with a time of 23:10.7.
