Emily Kennedy turned in a monster week for the Panthers., helping BMCC clinch the No. 2 seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Community College Women’s Basketball Championship. On Tuesday, the rookie forward dropped a whopping career and game-high 30 points against Queensborough to go along with 12 rebounds, leading the Panthers to a 64-33 victory. Kennedy's 30-point performance was the program's first in five seasons, and she also registered two other career bests on the night with 14-of-31 shooting and eight assists.
The freshman forward led all scorers with 21 points on Saturday against Suffolk C.C. and just missed her fourth double-double by one rebound with nine to go along with two steals and two assists.
