
The highly touted freshman lived up to her billing in her collegiate debut last weekend. The Flushing native, who was the runner-up in the PSAL Championships last season, won three of her matches versus Concordia and Adelphi. The pride of Cardoza defeated Amanda Ferrari, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 1 singles. She followed that up against Adelphi with a 6-0, 6-1victoryagainst Claudette Frysztacki, also at No. 1 singles. She partnered with Tzakis in the match to win at No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-1.
