Aurel played a major role in ending the Panther's 17-game losing streak to Queensborough Community College, defeating them for the first time since 2012 and the first time in the Regular Season since 2011 while ending the Tiger's unprecedented 55-match winning streak against CUNYAC competition. Against the five-time consecutive NJCAA Region 15 Champion, she registered the game-winning kill in the match, finishing with six total, and tied a team-best defensively with 13 digs. She followed that up with a game-best 16 digs against Hostos to lead the BMCC defense and missed her second double-double of the season by one kill, uncorking nine in the match. Aurel concluded the week with a team-high 16 digs and a career-high .833 hitting percentage to lead the Panther backline in a straight-set sweep of Orange County.
