Gado turned in a strong performance at the HBCU Showcase to earn Runner of the Week accolades. In the 200-meter dash, Gado produced a conferenceleading time of 23.11. The sophomore posted a personal-best run of 51.70 in the 400m, clocking the fastest run in the CUNYAC this season. Gado also set a personal-best time of 7.20 in the 60m, while anchoring the Beavers’ 4x400m relay team to a top-10 performance with a conference-leading performance of 3:44.59.
