For the first time in her collegiate career, James takes rookie honors. The Brooklyn native helped the Bulldogs’ to a 2-0 week with conference wins against Hunter and Medgar Evers. James averaged 8.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists for the week. Against Medgar Evers, James tallied nine points and five boards. The freshman guard followed that with an eight point, four rebound effort against Hunter.
