Batista’s stand out night came against Sarah Lawrence, in which the Dominican Republican native dropped a career high 33 points, shooting just under 50 percent from the field, adding two steals and one blocked shot to end his stat line. In the win over Mt. St. Mary, the junior guard (Park West HS) posted 18 points and dished out 8 assists and grabbed 6 caroms. The Lightning return to the court on December 28, when they will go for their fourth straight win against St. Joseph-LI.
