Traore becomes the third Hostos player to earn Rookie of the Week honors this season. In the Caimans three games, the rookie contributed two doubledoubles while shooting 50% from the field while averaging 9.3 points and 14.3 rebounds per game. In a non-conference game against Nassau, the freshman center grabbed a season-high 20 rebounds. The Bronx native continued her strong presence on the boards grabbing 10 rebounds and scoring 12 points (6- 11 FG). The center had her second double-double of the week against CCBC, scoring 10 points and 13 boards.
