The freshman posted three gold medal finishes versus Lehman, including the 1000 Free (11:15.36), winning by over two minutes, the 200 Free (2:06.16) winning by nearly 20 seconds and the 500 Free, winning by over half a minute with a time of 5:31.91. Against MSU, McCafferty claimed 1st place again in the 1000 Free with a time of 11:09.29, and then took 1st again in the 500 Free with a time of 5:27.04. She finished with a third place run of 2:30.36 in the 200 IM.
