Essien Epps has been named the CUNYAC/ARMY ROTC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of 1/30-2/6. Sophomore Essien Epps recorded three double-doubles in three games for the week as John Jay went 2-1 overall and 2-0 during conference play. The captain registered 79 points, 35 rebounds, eight steals, and five assists for the week. The Bloomfield, NJ native picked up 25 points and 12 boards against the Cougars of Medgar Evers.
