Amely Del Rosario has been named the CUNYAC/Army ROTC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of 1/25-1/31. Del Rosario continued to dominate for the Lightning this past week in wins over Brooklyn and CCNY. Del Rosario finished with a game-high 23 points against the Bulldogs in a matchup of two of the CUNYAC's best teams. Then back home against City, Del Rosario found Karrin Walker under the hoop for a game-tying basket at the end of regulation to send the game into OT, then finished with six points in the extra period to ensure the Lightning remained atop the CUNYAC standings.
