Julia Connolly has been named the CUNYAC/Pepsi Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of 10/12-10/18. Connolly helped the Hawks capture three victories this week to help improve them to a 14-12 record. To start the week, the sophomore had 10 kills and 14 digs against Baruch. The Long Island native followed up with 12 kills and 8 digs in a matchup with SUNY Cortland and 16 kills and 19 digs versus Wilkes where she had a .343 hitting percentage. The following day, Connolly had 4 kills and 2 digs against SUNY Canton and ended the week with her strongest performance in a tough win over Utica. In the match she had 23 kills, 15 digs, 2 service aces and a solo block. For the week, Connolly tallied 76 kills averaging 3.45 per game with an efficient hitting percentage of .234. She also contributed 63 digs for the week at an average of 2.86 per game and 11 service aces.
