Tiffany Merlinsky has been named the CUNYAC/USS Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week for the week of 9/28-10/4. Merlinsky earned this honor earlier in the season for her excellent performances. This past week at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational, the freshman finished fifth overall in the 5k race out of 154 runners. She had a time of 21:10, which was only three seconds away from her personal best. The Hawks finished in second overall at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational.
