The senior made his presence felt immediately in his first action of the season, earning Most Valuable Player honors in the Lightning’s Dunkin Donuts Holiday Classic last week. The Bronx native was dangerous from beyond the arc, connecting on seven of his nine attempts in the two contests en route to a two-game total of 40 points. The 5’10” guard scored 21 points (5-for-6 three-point range) and added seven assists in the opening round win against St. Joseph’s (NY). The Clinton graduate followed that up with 19 points (11-for-14 free throws) against St. Joseph’s (LI) to help lead Lehman to the tournament championship.
