Zyare Brown has been named the CUNYAC/US Army Women's Indoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week for the week of 12/8-12/14. This marks the second straight week that she has earned the honor as she continues to sweep the rookie honor. The Amityville native posted personal bests in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.91, the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.70, and a distance of 4.56 meters in the Long Jump. She also threw for a distance of 6.91 meters in the Shot Put.
