Christina Pasaturo has been named the CUNYAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the term of 12/15/14 - 1/4/15. This marks her sixth consecutive Rookie of the Week honor as she continues her sweep of the honor this season. The rookie standout was CSI's steadiest offensive player, averaging 12.5 points and seven rebounds per contest. Against St. Joseph's Brooklyn at the Barclays Center, the Staten Island native notched a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Dolphins won 67-55. During the second half of that game, Pasaturo hit a key basket to give the Dolphins a two point edge that they would not relinquish.
She scored another 10 points during a contest versus DeSales before she notched another double-double against Connecticut College with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals. The guard finished out the week in a conference games versus rival Brooklyn with 14 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Against the Bulldogs, Pasaturo was key in keeping the game close as she would tie the game with layups and give the Dolphins the lead in the second half but was not enough to give the Dolphins the victory.
