Chimaechi Ekekeugbor has been named the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the term of 12/15/14 - 1/4/15. With his sixth consecutive award, he continues to sweep the top rookie accolade. Through three games over the break, the rookie standout averaged 13.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Against #22 Randolph-Macon, the New Jersey native scoring 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He followed that up with a career high 18 points with four rebounds and three assists during an 82-55 win over conference opponent Medgar Evers.
