Chimaechi Ekekeugbor has been named the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week of 12/8-12/14. With his fifth consecutive award, he continues to sweep the top rookie accolade. In two games this week, the standout averaged 17 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. During an 81-70 victory over conference opponent Staten Island, the New Jersey native racked up 16 points with six rebounds. He followed that up against York when he scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds en route to a 62-49 victory.
