Angela Mejia has been named the CUNYAC Women's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week for the week of 12/1-12/7. Competing at the ECAC Winter Championships, the rookie swum in six events. In individual events. the Bronx native placed 25th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:16.76. She followed that up In the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 26.99 to take 36th place. In relay action, she was part of teams that finished 8th in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:13.73, 10th in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:55.79, 10th in the 400 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 5:00.81, and 11th in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 4:28.00.
