Eric Wang has been named the CUNYAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week from the first meet until 11/9. The rookie began his career with five victories in six events while setting two new records at Baruch. Against William Patterson, he earned individual victories in the 200-Meter IM and the 100-Meter Butterfly but was able to set his first record during his 50-Meter Freestyle portion of the 200 Freestyle Relay. He followed that up against conference opponent CSI as the Jamaica, NY native set the school and freshman record in the 50-Meter Freestyle with a time of 24.79. He also took home gold in the 100-Meter Butterfly with a time of 58.55 and the 200-Meter Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:47.12.
