Pedro Taveras has been named the CUNYAC/MCU Men’s Baseball Rookie of the Week for the week of 3/16 - 3/22. Tavarez is off to a great start with the Beavers, helping City go 3-0 on the week. In a win at St. Joseph’s, the Bronx native had two hits in four at-bats and drove in a run. For the week, Tavarez was perfect in the field and recorded 4 put-outs.
