Chimaechi Ekekeugbor has been named the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week of 1/12/15 - 1/18/15. This marks his seventh such honor this season. During a 3-0 week, the freshman standout scored 13 point per game while shooting 69.6% from the field. During a 65-63 win over TCNJ, the New Jersey native scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds. He followed that up with 16 points and 5 rebounds in a 81-62 conference-win over Lehman. Finishing out his week during a 75-61 win over CCNY, the forward scored 15 points while shooting .875 from the floor and dishing four assists.
