Wil Fonseca has been named the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of 1/12/15 - 1/18/15. This marks his third Player of the Week honor this year. In three wins this week, the Brooklyn native notched three double-doubles as he averaged 19 points per game and 14.6 rebounds per game. Beginning the week against FDU-Florham, the junior notched 18 points and 11 rebounds to help the Dolphins take the game 81-69. Against conference opponent York, CSI won 72-59 while the Susan Wagner product scored 16 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds. Heading into halftime, Fonseca drove inside to open up a four-point lead that would give the Dolphins momentum. He finished out the week during a 76-67 victory over CUNYAC's Medgar Evers with 23 points and 14 rebounds while shooting .667 from the floor. The forward set the tone early with four points during a 9-2 run to start the game.
