Egzon Gjonbalaj has been named the CUNYAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of 11/17-11/23. The junior helped lead the Brooklyn College Men’s Basketball team to a 3-0 week. Over the course of the three games, the Brooklyn native averaged 20.0 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks, while playing 31 minutes per game. Against New Jersey City University, Gjonbalaj led all scorers with a career-high 36 points, shooting 12-19 from the field to go with six rebounds, three blocks, three steals, and two assists. Gjonbalaj also performed nicely at the AJ Buchanan Classic Championship, finishing with 13 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block in a win over Sage.
