Melvin Lopez has been named the CUNYAC/Pepsi Community College Male Player of the Week for the week of 9/29-10/5. The Bronx native was the star in BMCC's crucial 0-0 draw to Nassau on Wednesday, October 1st. Lopez made eight saves, including a brilliant point-blank stop in the 87th minute that forced extra time. The draw preserved BMCC's second-place position in the region.
