Alanna Caffrey of Queensborough has been named this week's CUNYAC/Pepsi Community College Rookie of the Week for the week of 9/1-9/7. Alanna helped lead the Tigers' offense by recording 17 kills in three games, with a game high 8 kills against Bergen Community College. The Staten Island native's defense helped Queensborough win the Lackawanna Tournament this weekend, as she recorded a team high 32 digs. Her team started the season 3-0.
