Yuliya Orkis has been named the CUNYAC/Hospital for Special Surgery Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of 9/8-914. The Brooklyn native has helped Brooklyn College Women's Tennis team to have a 6-3 win in the Bulldogs' season opener with Kean University. With the help of Diana Besha who is a sophomore, they teamed up to win #1 doubles, 8-2, over Brianna Martin and Erin Hendricks. Orkis also won over Hendricks in a singles play earning 6-0,6-1 at #1 singles having the victory.
