Bret Viola has been named the CUNYAC/MCU Rookie of the Week for the week 3/31 to 4/6. The rookie went 5-9 in non-conference action this weekend, striking out three batters in 1.2 innings pitched. The Carmel native scored twice, drove in two runs, hit a double, and stole a base for the Ducks. Against Ithaca, the freshman scored 3 for 3 in 5-1 win.
