Joe Palmeri has been named the CUNYAC/MCU Player of the Week for the week of 4/7 to 4/14. The sophomore hit safely in the first five games of the week, batting .556. He lead the team in hits for the week (10), doubles (2), RBI (4), runs scored (7) and he also added a stolen base and a pair of walks. In the doubleheader against JJC, Palmeri went 3-6 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. The Staten Island native leads the team with a .458 batting average on the season and has 12 doubles, which is already the 9th highest total in CSI single-season history.
