Shaquella Figueroa has been named the CUNYAC Community College Rookie of the Week for the week 1/13- 1/20. The rookie scored 23 and 17 points in two contests this week against Queensborough Community College and Suffolk Community College, respectively. She also snagged a total of 23 rebounds on the week and in the Red Hawks win over QCC, Figueroa was 4-6 from downtown. As a team, LaGuardia is leading the country in rebounding and "Quay" is currently ranked in the Top 20.
