Lovetta Hughley has been named the CUNYAC/US Army Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Week for the week of 1 /6 to 1/10. The freshman competed in four events during the Blue and White Invitational this week, the high jump, the long jump, the 60 meter dash, and the 200 meter. She qualified for the CUNYAC championships in the high jump stamping a time of 1.40 meters earning her 7th place. The native New Yorker later clocked a 9.13 meter finish in the 60 meter dash, coming in 11th. Hughley finally earned a 12th place finish posting times of 33.18 in the 200 meter finals and earned a 6th place finish in the long jump, scoring 3.99 meters.
